ABA Evaluation Services
Understanding a child's autism, ADHD, or developmental delay takes time and support from experienced professionals. For these conditions and many others, applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy has proven to be an effective tool in helping them develop appropriately and set themselves up for success in the home, at school, and beyond.
An evaluation with the experts at Arms Wide Open can be the first step in changing your child's life for the better. Whether they experience challenges in maintaining routines, social skills, physical development, or another area, we are committed to helping them improve the skills they have and develop new ones to benefit them in the future.

Understanding Applied Behavior Consulting
At Arms Wide Open, we make our services as accessible as possible through a simple ABA consultation process. You can speak with one of our experienced team members, who will collect some basic information, including the child's name, diagnosis and insurance plan information. This allows us to seek approval for services immediately and ensure coverage by the date of the evaluation. We will schedule an appointment pending insurance approval to keep things moving forward — most people can schedule an appointment within two weeks of first contact.
The consultation involves a meeting between the child and one of our board-certified behavior analysts (BCBA). During this evaluation, the BCBA will assess and test your child to understand their current level of development and the best way to address their most pressing challenges. Armed with information about medical history, cognitive performance and family state, we can develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses the child's specific needs.
ABA Services Where They're Needed Most
Arms Wide Open proudly serves communities across the nation in New Hampshire, South Dakota, Kansas, and Missouri, providing specialized and critical in-home behavioral therapy services. Our comprehensive range of ABA services includes:
- At-home ABA therapy: When your child learns new skills, a familiar environment can help them better internalize and apply them to everyday scenarios. Our BCBAs meet families directly to build trust quickly and facilitate their education.
- School collaboration: The more places we can apply ABA therapy, the better the likelihood of lasting results. That's why our specialist can also collaborate with your child's school and join them in classes. This gives your child more one-on-one support and allows us to address in-school triggers and challenges as they appear.
- Parental guidance: We champion support for the entire family by offering guidance for parents and family members, too. Family participation is key in ABA therapy, and this guidance is critical in maintaining consistent treatment and addressing skills outside of therapy hours. During the child's appointments, the therapist will work with you to provide the best opportunity for your child to thrive.

We Accept Most Insurance Plans
Prior to the ABA evaluation, our staff collects your insurance information to verify that therapy services will be covered. We partner with most major insurance companies, enabling us to help as many families as possible find quality, comprehensive services. We do the work of completing preauthorization and other paperwork while communicating directly with providers so we can keep your benefits covered and inform you of any copayments, deductibles, or out-of-pocket costs you'll be responsible for.
All of this happens before you meet with a BCBA, ensuring you understand what to expect in advance and can prepare accordingly.
